The Academy will be taking Monday off to celebrate Easter 2020, but as Shears Academy and all salons are closed to support all key workers including the NHS and reduce the risk of Covid-19 spread, and after to speaking with our apprentices, we will continue to deliver online training next week on Tuesday, 14th April, Emma, Nancy or Tracey will be in touch with you in the usual way.

Protecting your wellbeing
Everyone will be worried about how the coronavirus will affect them and their families. The NHS Every Mind Matters guidelines are a useful resource. For some people, social distancing and isolation at home means they are more vulnerable to abuse and violence as frustration and other pressures mount up. Support information is available here.
We are grateful to announce that we are commencing delivering of Online teaching and learning to our Hairdressing Apprentices with the government's support of businesses and training providers to maintain apprenticeship delivery.
If you are an apprentice Employer, we will have contacted you to explain how the government will support your business to maintain the delivery of apprenticeship training during this unpresidented, challenging time.
Like all schools, Further and Higher Education Colleges and Universities, Shears Academy, as an Independent Training Provider (ITP) closed on Fri. 20th March 2020 due to the current measures to control the spread of the Corona virus.
